PhD Position in DFG Project

The Chair of Labor and Innovation Economics at the School of Business, Economics and Society at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (Prof. Nagler) invites applications for one

                                                                               Research Associate (f/m/x) (75%)

position, starting at the earliest convenience. The position is funded by the German Science Foundation (DFG) under the project “The Economics of Non-Wage Amenities: A Supply-Side Approach”.

The position offers flexible arrangements regarding work hours and work from home. The initial contract is for a limited period of one year. Upon the completion of a dissertation proposal within the first year, the contract will be extended by three more years. The place of employment is Nuremberg. The salary is based on public employee regulations (13 TV-L). Applicants are expected to be strongly interested in economic research and in pursuing a doctoral degree in economics. Applicants need to have completed/are about to complete a master’s degree in economics or social sciences with a GPA above average. Good English language skills are required, German language skills are welcome. The candidate is expected to have a solid background in econometrics and empirical methods.
